A Good Argument For Why Moore Needs To Resign
A journalist all the way out in Paris, Texas has pretty much summed up the whole situation at UA as well as suggest the first step to finding a solution. If you care about our football program you should take the time to read this insightful article. Read "Changes at UA Must Be Made", by Tyler Clifton

Tommy Bowden Should Not Be Alabama's Next Head Coach
Like probably most of you I've been reading and hearing rumors of Tommy Bowden as a possible candidate for coach. If the rumors are true and the powers that be are actually considering hiring any Bowden(including Daddy Bowden), then our program is in worse shape than I thought. I think it would be a monumental mistake to hire someone like Tommy Bowden at this point. To me it would be the equivalent of hiring Shula over again and firing him again in three or four years.
The fact of the matter is that Tommy Bowden doesn't have what it takes to take Alabama, or any other college football team, to the place where we want our program to get back to and that's a National Championship. Tommy Bowden may be a great guy and all that good stuff but we all know what happened the last time we hired a "Good Guy".
We'd be better off looking into hiring a good assistant coach from a successful program than even thinking about hiring someone like Bowden.

Rich Rod Declines Offer For Alabama's Head Coaching Job
Apparently Richie Rodriguez has declined the substantial offer made to him to become the next head coach at Bama. Does this surprise anyone out there in Tide land? Be honest with yourself, do you really still think the head coaching job at the University of Alabama holds the same prestige it once did? I'm sorry to say that it doesn't, and the sooner we recognize that fact and learn to live with it the better off we'll be.
Who wants or needs the kind of immediate pressure that is going to be placed squarely on the shoulders of whoever becomes our next coach? One guy has already basically said that it's not even worth a cool $50 million, and I can't blame him.
Our own past success and inability to accept anything but perfection next season is in fact preventing us from hiring a viable candidate that may actually be able to deliver that perfection or something close to it.
Ask yourself why someone like Rodriguez, who played at WV and now coaches there, would turn his back on his players and fans and just pick up and come to Alabama. Now ask yourself if you would want a guy with that kind of character, someone who shows no loyalty and only answers to the almighty dollar, to come to the University of Alabama. I know I wouldn't.
Anybody heard from Shula lately?

$50 Million Offer
If you haven't already, you may want to read this article on the ridiculous offer we made to Saban. $50Million, are you kidding me? What kind of monster have we created with this whole mess? I'm afraid our impatience with Shula, the quick-fix attitude all of us seem to have, and the pressure being put on the school to find the next coaching god is going to come back to haunt us sometime in the future. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see many coaches dying to come to Bama, even if the offer is $50 mil.

Is Rodriguez the One?
It sounds more and more like West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez could be Alabama's next coach.
Read this interesting article.
Sounds like the Governor of West Virginia already knows something that we're likely to find out soon.
